How to Setup Client

  1. Download MultiMC (Direct Link) and extract the zip to a folder on your machine
  2. Open MultiMC and click "Add Instance"

  3. Use the name "mining.diamonds" and choose version 1.12.2
    Choose Minecraft Version
  4. Right-click on the new instance > Edit instance

  5. On the Version tab > Click the "Install Forge" button

  6. Choose version 14.23.5.2815 (2/15/19) > OK

  7. On the Server tab > Add the server with the name and address both mining.diamonds

  8. On the Settings tab > Change the Maximum memory allocation to atleast 4096 MB

  9. Close the Settings window
  10. Right-click on the instance > Minecraft folder
    Find Minecraft Folder
  11. Create a mods folder if it does not exist and open it
    Create Mods folder
  12. Download the following mod pack and extract all the .jar files into your mods folder: Current Server Mod Pack
    Download and extract all mods into new folder
    Note: not all mods are shown in this screenshot
  13. Double-click on the Instance in MultiMC and play!
